Ismael Serrano Morón (Madrid; on March 9, 1974)  is a spanish singer who writes his own songs and he belongs to the new appeared generation of cantautores in the nineties. His letters are a mixture of songs that talk about love and protest music, typical of the author’s style . Not uselessly, between others, he recognizes influences of Serrat, Aute, Joaquín Sabina or Silvio Rodríguez, as well as of poets of the height of Luis García Montero or Mario Benedetti.

In 2007he created a record stamp called "Pequod", whose first album is an honouring to the cantautor from Extremadura, Paul Guerrero "Hechos de nubes". On the disc  they collaborate, among others, Luz Casal, Joan Manuel Serrat, Quique Gonzalez and Luis Pastor.

On September 11, 2007 he published his new disc called “Sueños de un hombre despierto”, title that refers to Aristotle's phrase: “The hope is the dream of the awake man ". In his  first week of being published,  the album was placed in the first position of the official list of sales in Spain.
