He  lives from the sixties in Madrid. Already from his first disc "Andalusian gipsy singing", he was aiming at a clear heterodox and renovating vision of the flamenco, who with the years met repeated and guaranteed by the numerous prizes that he has received and for recitals that he has given all over the world.

In the last years, his zeal innovator has led him to developing musical projects furthermore ambitious and awkward. He has worked with musicians indies and has fused all kinds of musical. He has worked with artists as unlike as Leonard Cohen, Small lizard Nick, Sonic Youth, Pat Metheny (in his brilliant vision of the Alhambra), The Planets, Amaral and Mr. Chinarro, or in the collective honoring to the poet Paul Neruda in his centenary, of title “Neruda in the heart”.
