After the Pirates' separation at the end of the year 2003, Iván decided not to move away from the world of the music, and  opened with his brother Amaro   a pub in Vigo, called The Widening. While Iván was continuing creating topics and soon he had sufficient material as(like) to edit a disc: " Songs for the time and the distance " (2005), which it(he,she) it would dedicate as singer in solitarily. In his(her,your) tour Tournedo, with which they crossed the whole Spain, Iván it(he,she) touched accompanied of his(her,your) brother Amaro to the guitar and of Karlos Arancegui to the battery.

In November, 2005, Iván designed a so called project " Laboratory Ñ ", consisting of to assemble  with other musicians and friends for two weeks in a house of Buenos Aires to create all new songs. The accompanists of Iván in this experience were Juan Aguirre and Eve Amaral (the duo Amaral), Xoel Lopez (singer of Deluxe), Laziness, Quique Gonzalez, as well as several Argentine artists.

His  last album of study, published at the end of October, 2006, titles "Las 7 y media" and has  eight courts(cuts) that the artist composed during his tour " Tournedo 2006 ".
