Born in San Sebastian in the year 81, this romantic and dreamy child began to compose at the age of 18 songs with the intention of them being recorded for his girlfriend. His talent and force in the letters of his topics let perplex a producing friend of his father,  who soon put  hands to the work to record a disc that knows with certainty that it will be a great success. And he was not wrong. In the year 2001, Álex records his first album “¿Qué pides tu?". The success of his songs was sweeping. His magnificent ballads loaded with love and feeling came to the heart of a wide public. His second disc comes in 2003 under the name of “Fantasia o Realidad " and gives step in 2006 to his last work “Aviones de Cristal ". In which we find 12 new songs that show the maturity of the artist.

With more than 20 golden discs and platinum in Spain, Latin America and USA and innumerable prizes on the part of the public and the critique, Álex Ubago demonstrates with his  work that the romanticism and the inspiration of his  18 years has not got lost with the time.
