Chambao is a band of flamenco music mixed with electronics, known as Flamenco-Chill.

Chambao was born when the  Dutch musician  Henrik Takkenberg met three persons from Malaga (Maria del Mar, Eduardo and Dani) in Pedregalejo and they decided to form a musical group fusing flamenco with electronic sounds.

Their first work, “Flamenco Chill”, was a best-seller. Their second disc, "Endorfinas en la mente", already without Henrik among them, guaranteed their presence in the musical panorama, obtaining a “Premio Ondas”. Their single  Ahi estas tu   was a big success in Spain. The Chambao's third work is called “Pokito a poko” .  From the original  members of the group, La Mari is the only one who stays in it, and she has  surround herself with new musicians to continue with Chambao. Now with their new single Papeles Mojados  they expect to repeat success, both in Spain and in Europe. In the latter work besides flamenco and chill out, they fuse Arabic rythms and letters of social denunciation.
